Locally owned and family operated, Eastside Tree Works provides residential and commercial service to Sammamish and the Eastside. From tree trimming to hazardous tree removal to stump grinding and pruning, our crews have over 100 years of experience in handling tree-related problems.
The City of Sammamish requires a tree removal permit in order to remove deciduous or coniferous trees over a certain size so here are the size requirements.
No permit is needed if your trees are smaller than the guidelines stated above (unless located in a critical area) or it’s a emergency removal to prevent impending danger or hazard to persons or property.
Examples of critical areas would be wetlands, protected slope area, stream corridors, geologic hazard area prone to erosion or an area with a Native Growth Protective Easement (NGPE).

“They removed three 120 foot Douglas Firs with minimal impact on the surrounding vegetation. The trees were near power wires and on the property line. A well trained and communicative crew.”
